Shawn has been involved in the health and fitness industry since 2000, dedicating much of his career to helping people improve their physical health, performance, and overall quality of life.

In 2011, he opened BSS Fitness with the goal of creating a unique, welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds could pursue their fitness goals, whether that meant improving their general health or preparing for high-level athletic competition.

As his career evolved, Shawn became increasingly involved in competitive strength sports, both as an athlete and a coach. His experience eventually took him around the world, working alongside athletes of all levels, including some of the strongest competitors in the sport.

Throughout those years, Shawn had the opportunity to work closely with massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, and other healthcare professionals. These experiences helped him develop a deeper appreciation for the importance of soft tissue health, recovery, mobility, and the role that hands-on bodywork can play in overall well-being.

Recognizing the value of incorporating bodywork into his existing knowledge of human movement and physical performance, Shawn decided to pursue his massage therapy license.

Today, he brings more than two decades of experience in health, fitness, and strength coaching into his massage therapy practice, offering an approach that combines his understanding of the body with a genuine desire to help people feel and function their best.

Whether you’re a competitive athlete looking to support recovery, someone dealing with everyday muscle tension and discomfort, or simply looking for an opportunity to relax and unwind, Shawn welcomes you.

His goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, individualized massage therapy that meets you where you are and helps you work toward feeling your best.
