Jessica has over 33+ years experience as a massage and bodywork professional, and believes that massage is an essential part of health care for anyone who desire to be dynamically well, fully alive, and truly thriving. Jessica Mott is an Indiana certified massage therapist & a nationally board certified by the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Bodywork and has been a member since 1994. She is a member of the Association of Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Jessica graduated magnum cum laude with an individualized bachelor degree in Holistic Health from the University of Tennessee in 1990. Jessica is a certified Monitrice and has had the privilege of being a labor support doulah for the last 26 years, and has attended over 40+ births. She has a passion for happy, healthy movements that support our balance, strength, flexibility, and joy. Jessica is a certified Crossfit Kettlebell instructor and has also completed the 200 hour Nourishing Heart Yoga training and is currently completing the 300 hour training, which will give her 500 hours of yoga training. She teaches yoga & kettlebell classes weekly at Ekah Yoga Studio, and offers private instruction. She is the co-founder of Mother Hubbard's Cupboard, a local non-for-profit food pantry, which started in her garage. Mother Hubbard's Cupboard mission is increases access to healthy food for all people in need in ways that cultivate dignity, self-sufficiency, and community. Jessica received the Heart and Hand Award for her work with MHC in 2007. She is happily married to a scientist who shares her birthday and is blessed to have a loving son and daughter who have grown into amazing adults.
