About Valencia Performance Therapy

Valencia Performance Therapy is a bodywork practice built around one belief: effective massage should work with the body, not fight against it.

Founded by Licensed Massage Therapist, professional athlete, and fitness coach Jesse Valencia Jr., VPT was developed from years of experience understanding the body, movement, performance, recovery, and the importance of true relaxation.

The VPT Method combines therapeutic massage, detailed deep-tissue techniques, mobility-focused bodywork, tuning fork therapy, and relaxation-focused techniques. Instead of assuming deeper means harder, we listen to how the body responds—progressing when it allows and adjusting when it begins to guard. This allows for thorough, intentional work while keeping relaxation at the center of the experience.
