Thank you for being here! I'm Fae, the human behind Mycelial MindBody. I offer somatic bodywork, as a licensed massage therapist with a psychology/dance degree and a yoga certification, I am passionate about helping people find their way to feeling better in their whole self. In sessions with me, you'll find an opportunity for a collaboration between your mind and body, heart, emotions and spirit, with a variety of techniques, making a you-focused time on the massage table, the Thai floor mat or the dance floor.

Integrated Whole-You Sessions/Therapies:

On the Massage Table : A blend of either a more Relaxation/Swedish Massage with rhythm and flow to allow you to fully let go and unwind or a Therapeutic/Deep Tissue Massage with Table Thai Stretching and Structural Bodywork : this can be a much more interactive session, I'll be asking for feedback, asking you to give back movement, so actively working with me to address those deeper needs and pains. Blending relaxation and therapetic is my personal favorite.
On the Floor Mat : Clothed, beautifully blending traditional Thai Massage, Myofascial Release and Structural Integration into a session where you are able to be in silence, close your eyes, fully let go, and let me move your body, if you want. This can be relaxing, and/or therapeutic.
Please choose the floor mat option for this session!

All sessions follow anatomy trains and sen lines collaborating closely with the whole you, to help unwind the stories in the body and mind.
Dance/Movement Facilitation : Be in touch! So many possibilties, such as free-form ecstatic dance facilitation, choreography, movement therapy for addressing daily movement patterns to enhance relief and lasting results for your other healing modalities.

Why mushrooms and mycelium? I found my passion in my massage therapy education at East West College of the Healing Arts when learning about the human fascial system and viewing it as the "mycelium network of the body"—a connective, communicative, and adaptive web that holds our structure together, just as mycelium connects forest ecosystems.

When working with the whole system via fascia, I am able to help integrate all parts of the body to help relieve physical and emotional stagnation. Living with chronic pain myself, bodywork that integrates the whole system of the mind and body, that is trauma sensitive and directly works with my nervous system to tend to the emotions, heart and the spirit, helps me find lasting relief and ease in my body.

I specialize in just that-- trauma sensitive, whole mind-body, nervous system regulating, integrated sessions where collaboration with you is priority. These sessions facilitate opportunities for your body and mind to collaborate and offer release of old patterns.

I look forward to working with you to help you feeling the best in your current body and mind. If you don't see a time or day on my calendar that works for you, be in touch.
