Cedric Townsend, founder and owner of Hand+Heart Massage & Wellness Co., is a native of Springfield, TN and graduate of Cumberland Institute of Holistic Therapies in Brentwood, TN. It was at Cumberland that Cedric embraced his calling and embarked on his journey as a holistic healer and practitioner while finding his niche and purpose in the world.

As a practitioner, Cedric specializes in facilitating the connection of mind, body, spirit through integrating various body and energy work modalities such as swedish massage, stretching, acupressure, craniosacral and reiki therapy, and more to come.

Since 2018, holistic wellness has become a integral aspect of Cedric's personal life experiences. He has committed himself to continuing to researching and applying various forms of wellness and healing - physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually - as well as educating his clients on the benefits of developing a more holistic lifestyle for themselves.

Outside of being a wellness enthusiast, Cedric is a professional musician with an extensive background in vocal and instrumental ensembles and performing. He enjoys spending time with his closest family, friends, and loved ones and intends to live life as the universe sees fit.
