Quartz & Muscle is a massage practice based in Denver, CO, run by Alex Doran, a Licensed Massage Therapist and certified Level 5 Breathwork Healer.

I believe that through massage and breath you can free yourself from stuck negative, debilitating pain and energy.

Massage sessions are built around what's needed that day while also addressing your ongoing physical limitations. We discuss pressure, focus areas, and approach to best meet your body and nervous system where it is when you arrive.

Breathwork is an excellent practice if you're looking to release stress, enhance physical and mental endurance, and simply live a better life. I follow the Two-Stage Pranayama technique, simple and impactful.

This breath turns off your analytical mind, allowing your subconscious to become conscious. In this state of awareness, tension, memory, and emotion surface. Many people experience euphoria, a sense of timelessness, reduced discomfort, or feelings similar to a runner's high. Please note, this isn't only a relaxation session. It's built to push you out of your comfort zone, physically, mentally, and emotionally. However, it does activate your parasympathetic nervous system and can be restorative when you allow it.

Invest in your health; mental or physical, you won't regret it. I recommend a 90-minute massage followed by a breathwork session to truly make lasting change to your daily life.

I love working with all types of people. Corporate, Hospitality, Athletes. LGBTQ+... I am and have been part of these groups throughout my life.

My energetically cleansed studio has the following amenities available. Hot towel warmer, table warmer, cotton linens, essential oils, soothing music, sound bowls, organic oils and creams, cupping, IASTM tools, and a kind, compassionate massage therapist healer.
