After the birth of my daughter 3 years ago, I realized that there was a gap missing in women and infant's care--I received the clinical care, but greatly missed the care and attention to the nuances of my and my baby's body.

Using my experience in massage and bodywork over the last 10 years, I founded Awen Birth and Bodywork: Here you are invited to reflect, relax, and experience care that goes beyond basic metrics.

Women's care means that this is a safe, judgment free space to receive bodywork that is tailored to YOUR body: whether you are cycling, pregnant, postpartum or menopausal. We specialize in myofascial unwinding that is sensitive to the changes female bodies undergo throughout our lifespan, as well as lymphatic drainage massage and relaxation techniques that target nervous system balance. Whether you are experiencing pubic symphysis pain, sciatic nerve pain, mastitis, shoulder/neck discomfort, or you feel like you're a "Mom" away from running out your front door, together we can make a plan to help get you feeling your best.

Craniosacral therapy for infants is a gentle, noninvasive therapy that uses light touch to help unwind and release tension. It is helpful for babies with tongue and lip ties (before or after revision), colic/fussiness, torticolis, or those who have experienced a very long or fast birth.
