Stephanie has lived all over the US but considers North Carolina her home. She has been a therapist for 6 years and received her training in medical and sports massage therapy at a school in Indiana. She has also completed the 2 year training course for Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy.

As a massage therapist, she can perform Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, Trigger Point therapy and Prenatal. Some of the conditions she enjoys treating include, but are not limited to, TMJD, migraines (including vestibular and trigeminal migraines), frozen shoulder, sciatica, whiplash, upper cross syndrome and pelvic tilts.

Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy is a gentle modality that works with the nervous system. Our nervous system’s job is to respond to stimuli and stress. Sometimes trauma, difficult situations or just daily living can keep our nervous system in a low-level state of Fight or Flight. When the nervous system is activated in this way, we can experience anxiety, panic attacks, feeling uneasy and even a heightened sense of pain. Biodynamic Craniosacral can help the nervous system to settle and also expand its capacity for handling stress. Many clients report feeling rested, more calm and peaceful after a session. This is a powerful, but gentle modality that helps restore the feeling of safety and calm in the body.

She loves helping clients become more aware of their bodies and tuning into the messages it gives us. One of her favorite things to do in session is to figure out how patterns of “being” are causing dysfunction and then how to resolve or change those patterns for greater mobility and less pain.

She lives on a big farm with her family, growing veggies and chasing after goats.
