I never planned to become a massage therapist. I went to massage school because of my youngest daughter, who was diagnosed with Fairbanks disease, a rare genetic bone disorder that causes chronic pain and joint issues. I recognized what she was experiencing because I have the same condition, and I knew as an athlete myself, massage would be an important part of helping her feel and function better.

That experience ultimately led me to a career I genuinely love. Living with orthopedic challenges myself has also given me a unique appreciation for how much our ability to move, stay active, and keep doing the things we love affects our quality of life. That perspective shapes the way I care for every client.

I have a B.A. from Seton Hall University and attended the Massage Therapy Program at Brookdale Community College to become a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of New Jersey. Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent much of my professional career in Silicon Valley working in consulting and corporate software sales. Outside of work, I became what I like to call a late-blooming athlete, discovering a love for competitive cycling, running, triathlons, adventure racing, kickboxing, and jujitsu. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for movement, resilience, and just how much our bodies allow us to experience in life.

I specialize in bespoke therapeutic bodywork rather than following a one-size-fits-all massage routine. Every session begins with listening to what the client is experiencing and what they hope to accomplish.

Depending on the individual, a session may incorporate therapeutic massage, deep tissue work, myofascial techniques, assisted stretching, cupping, hot stones, percussion therapy, and other approaches.

I particularly enjoy working with clients experiencing muscular tension, restricted movement, overuse, postural and movement imbalances, and the everyday aches and limitations that can come with an active life, work, training, or aging. My goal is not simply to address where someone hurts, but to better understand the whole person and help them move and feel better.
