Lucia, creator of The Ritual Room in Ocala, FL, is a New York City native who began her journey into holistic healing in 2011. After addressing her own ailments through bodywork, herbs, and intention, she developed a passion for helping others achieve similar healing. Becoming a Reiki practitioner in 2012 opened the door to other forms of bodywork and led to her licensure as a Massage Therapist in 2016.

Over the years, Lucia has collaborated with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and other healers, gaining extensive knowledge in various therapeutic modalities such as cupping, gua sha, trigger point therapy, prenatal, as well as holistic approaches like Reiki, sound healing, and chakra balancing.

Lucia’s approach to massage is intuitive and trauma-informed. She tailors each session to your body’s specific needs, focusing on regulating the nervous system before introducing deeper work. She provides a calm environment, emphasizing clear communication, respect for boundaries & autonomy and avoiding harm, ensuring your complete safety and comfort.

Recently, Lucia has developed a passion for TMJ work, recognizing its profound impact on the whole body. By addressing tension in the jaw and surrounding muscles, she helps alleviate symptoms such as headaches, earaches, and neck pain, promoting overall well-being.

In her spare time, Lucia enjoys caring for her houseplants, soaking in the sun, and reminding you to drink water.
