You may have met Robert around the studio as a fellow yoga student. What some didn’t know is that he got his massage license from IPSB in San Diego in 2002 and has been doing massage over the years in spas, gyms, and for private clients. Robert is now excited to be providing massage for the South Park Yoga community.

Robert believes in working closely with the client to address their individual needs. He is skilled in multiple massage techniques. This includes deep tissue, NMT or rejuvenating Swedish massage. One of his specialties is helping to bring a person into a deep relaxed state using a modality that was developed by James Stewart in 1977 at IPSB called Sensory Repatterning. It incorporates gentle body rocking and passive joint movement to help release chronic stuck patterns in the body and find new paths of movement and calm. It is done clothed or loosely draped with no lotion.
