I’m Lisa Crassi, the owner of Mountainside Mobile Massage, and a California Massage Therapy Council Certified Massage Therapist.

I graduated from the New York Institute of Massage in 2006, with over 1100 hours of body-based education. I enjoy learning about people, in body and mind, and have continued my education to include certifications in Mindfulness, as well as Stress Management so that I may include a whole person approach to my massage practice. As a seasoned Massage Therapist, I have worked in a variety of settings throughout the last 15+ years, including resorts, spas, offices, festivals, marathons, and in client’s homes.

An explorer at heart, I moved to the Sierra Nevada foothills a few years ago with my family. In the short time I’ve lived here, I think I have spent most of it getting to know the area! I have an annual Yosemite pass and go as often as I can, biking, hiking, and swimming at least a few times a year (happy to share some tips if you’re visiting from out of town!). I also enjoy being a part of our many community events and learning about the mountain area and its history. From the Logger’s Jamboree to the Sugar Pine Railroad, Tarantula Fest to ‘Judy’s doughnuts are the best ‘; Living in these mountains has made me immediately feel like I was at home.

I am currently the sole provider, and I am both Madera County Sheriffs & California Massage Therapy Council Certified (#87640), and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. These organizations and certifications, while not mandatory in CA, are responsible for verifying education and credentials, completing criminal background checks, and ensuring a massage business is done legally and proficiently.

Lastly, when I’m not working, or doing laundry, you will most likely find me splashing around at Bass Lake, hiking the local trails, or exploring some of California’s golden parks with my family.

Whether you are in town for the weekend or living here year-round, I’m dedicated to giving you a professional and relaxing in-home massage experience.
