Carrie Kooyenga is the founder of Arukah Wellness, where clinical knowledge meets holistic care. A Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (Blackhawk Technical College, 2008) and Licensed Massage Therapist (Wisconsin School of Massage Therapy. 2025), Carrie blends medical training with restorative, trauma-informed approaches to help individuals heal, restore, and thrive.

She specializes in therapeutic, medical, and sports massage, trauma-informed bodywork, and injury prevention, while also integrating holistic practices that support whole-body wellness. In addition to her hands-on care, Carrie creates natural wellness products and is continuing her studies in herbalism, with the goal of offering plant-based support as part of her practice.

Carrie values a team approach to health and collaborates with physical therapists, medical providers, and other wellness practitioners to ensure her clients receive well-rounded, individualized care. Through Arukah Wellness, she bridges the gap between physical therapy and holistic health—treating pain, restoring mobility, reducing stress, and empowering clients to achieve balance in body and mind.
