Hello, my name is Kat (she/they). I am excited at the possibility of working with you! I have chosen massage therapy as a career because I am passionate about creating a safe space for people to rest, reconnect, and ground into their bodies. My work is intuitively led and rooted in the belief that your body already holds the innate wisdom it needs to heal. My role is to listen to the energy and tissue of your body, respond, and to offer space for whatever is ready to shift or let go.

I have a social justice approach to massage therapy and am committed to building intersectional, queer friendly, anti-oppressive spaces that affirm all body types and genders, free of shame or judgement.

No two sessions are the same. We will work together to address your specific needs that day. My hope is that you always leave our sessions with less tension, more grounded and connected to yourself.

My massage style is gentle yet firm, slow, and heart-centered. Bodywork may have moments of intensity however I don’t believe pain is a necessary part of massage — instead, I collaborate with each person to find a depth that feels both satisfying and useful. Sometimes that is a more direct deep pressure, sometimes it is an indirect subtle approach that slowly works through layers of fascia to still obtain deep impact and change in the body.

Every session is unique and tailored specifically for you and your needs that day. I will be pulling from Swedish, myofascial, neuromuscular, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, breath work, and Reiki techniques, all grounded in a strong understanding of muscle anatomy. Most importantly my work is guided by intuition, a trauma-informed lens, and a deep respect for whatever the body is ready to share or release. I would be so honored to be a part of your healing.
