Hello, and welcome! My name is Sean Duffy, and I’m the owner and lead therapist here at Duffy’s Massage Excellence—also known as DME.

If I could sum up what this business is all about in one word, it would be you. Your needs, your concerns, and your well-being are at the center of everything I do. Massage therapy, to me, is not just a profession—it’s a craft, a science, and an art. That’s why I chose to include the word Excellence in the name of my business. Excellence is a core value in every aspect of my life, and massage therapy is no exception.

I'm a proud graduate of the Community College of Rhode Island, where I earned the highest honors. My approach to massage is personalized and therapeutic, grounded in professional training and a genuine passion for helping others. I believe that every client deserves a therapist who’s the right fit—and my goal is to be just that for you.

At DME, I draw from a wide range of techniques, including:

While I often focus on deep tissue work to address chronic tension, muscle imbalances, and specific conditions such as tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, and strains, I tailor each session to your individual needs. Every treatment is based on open communication and mutual understanding—I explain the purpose and technique before applying it, and your comfort and consent are always the priority.
