Hi! I’m Katelyn!

I have been licensed and practicing massage therapy in Rhode Island since 2019 and have worked at the same busy wellness clinic located in the west end of Providence RI since 2020.

I was born and raised in southeastern Massachusetts and recently obtained my licensure to practice massage in my home state of Massachusetts.

I am very excited to offer therapeutic massage closer to home!

Massage is very rewarding work for me, I enjoy learning about the body, it is my passion!!

I very deeply love this work and enjoy helping my clients find relief from chronic and acute muscular pain and tension as well as offering a little respite from life’s daily stress.

I encourage my clients to become more in tune with their bodies, promoting a self-awareness that lasts beyond the massage table.

I tend to work with firm pressure with a gentle approach to help ease muscular tension and pain, while offering a restorative, relaxing and healing experience. I don’t believe that deep tissue is supposed to hurt, I work in ways that offer deep pressure but also weaving in elements of relaxation. It is my goal to help work through the knots and stuck muscular tissue to bring in fresh oxygenated blood flow while also helping to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, this is where all of that lovely self-healing magic happens.

I like to blend deep tissue and relaxation techniques, myofascial work and trigger point therapy.

I am trained in myofascial cupping Advanced Corrective Bodywork course with Rob Martin of Rolf Bodywork’s (Sterling, CT) and prenatal massage.

I also enjoy learning about structural bodywork.

I view the body as a whole and look to help my clients find root causes to help address their muscular pain
