I'm Dak, a martial artist and massage therapist, on a mission to bring ancient wisdom and bodywork to the modern world. After years of solitary Uber shifts and life-changing massages from various practitioners, I traded the driver's seat for a massage table. At Avalon School of Massage I've logged hundreds of hours through the extended internship, tutoring peers and attending CEUs, all to refine a high level deep tissue craft and get to the crux of what causes neuromuscular dysfunction.

When I'm not assisting the miraculous natural healing mechanisms of the human body, I'm either drawing, studying, training, or adding stuff to my car. I believe true healing is more than just easing pain and promoting relaxation — it's about cultivating one's potential and attaining a true balance in life. So I practice Tai Chi, to infuse this ancient practice into massage, Bujinkan for discipline and strength to work longer and tougher hours, and MMA for endurance to remain consistent.
