Myk’s path to healing has been anything but linear—and that’s exactly what makes their work so grounded, creative, and intuitively attuned.

Before stepping into the healing arts, Myk spent over 20 years immersed in the creative world—first in film and television, and later in the art world as a photographer, installer, and fine art handler. These experiences shaped a deep sensitivity to visual language, spatial awareness, and the quiet power of presence. But it was through the sacred threshold of loss—caring for a dear friend during their transition—that Myk’s healing journey truly began.

Reiki was the first doorway, awakening a profound calling to do more. After receiving their Reiki Master certification, Myk followed a pull toward deeper energetic work, beginning an eight-month training in shamanic energy healing with longtime friend and teacher Catherine Schoenfarber. The first half of this training focused on soul retrieval and energetic extraction, while the second half centered on end-of-life energetic support—work that deeply resonated with Myk's soul.

It was during this time that a new truth emerged: energy healing was powerful, but something more was needed. Physical touch—nurturing, intentional, and reverent—was essential to being fully present in sacred spaces, especially in times of transition. This realization led Myk to study massage therapy at Spirit Wellness Institute, where they reconnected with a long-dormant gift: light touch release work and gentle fascia unwinding.

Today, Myk weaves together their intuitive sensitivity, energetic training, and gentle bodywork into healing sessions that honor the whole person.
