We are currently taking a pause on taking new patients. There is a two month lead time to get on the schedule. Masks are not currently required. Should you feel more comfortable with yourself/ your therapist wearing one, please let us know.

Please know that we are our own receptionists, phone calls/text will be returned between appointments when we can. Emily, my virtual assistant, is monitoring emails throughout the day.

Health Impact is locally owned and operated by Mary Helen C. Thorne and was originally founded right here in Staunton in 2009 as a solo massage therapy practice.

Our beautiful space is fully equipped with a waiting area, 2 massage/bodywork treatment rooms and 2 bathrooms (one with shower for salt treatments). Our treatment rooms are fully furnished to provide clients the best massage and bodywork experience. Health Impact has convenient online scheduling so that you can view our schedule at any time and book a massage or bodywork session without stress. We also have onsite parking!

Our deep tissue technique is performed by the therapist using bare feet. It is the deepest most luxurious massage on the planet. Each client receives a personal consultation to ensure a massage experience that is customized especially for you.

It is important that you fill out the intake form prior to your appointment. It helps us best determine how to proceed with your session.

If you arrive early for your appointment, you may find the front door locked. We have found this to be a necessary step to protect patient privacy and prevent interruptions. Rest assured, we are open and will unlock the door for you at your appointment time.

Your appointment time is reserved especially for you, however, we understand that conflicts with appointments will arise. In the event of a conflict, we ask that you either give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can work with you to reschedule or send an alternate in your place. If you miss your appointment without notifying us at all, you will still be responsible for the full appointment fee.
