This includes a brief check-in followed by full hands-on work centered on your goals for the day.

Payment
Memberships are billed automatically each month using the card on file. Your monthly session credit becomes available once your membership renews.

Recommended Booking Rhythms

There is no one perfect frequency for massage. The right rhythm depends on your goals, how your body is feeling, and what feels supportive and sustainable for your lifestyle.

Weekly for a shorter season of care when pain, tension, or stress feels especially high
Every 2 to 3 weeks for chronic tension, training recovery, or steady progress without too much buildup
Every 3 to 4 weeks for maintenance, posture-related strain, and ongoing support
Once a month for general wellness, relaxation, and stress relief

Referral Thank You

As a thank-you for supporting my practice, anyone who refers a new client will receive a $20 gift certificate after the referred client completes their first session.

One referral thank-you is offered per new client referred.

Undress in private to your comfort level
Professionally draped at all times
Only the area being worked on is uncovered
Private areas are never exposed
Abdominal work, if requested, is performed through the sheet or blanket
Table heat, blanket weight, and other comfort details can always be adjusted to your needs

Professional Boundaries
All services provided at KnotionMend are strictly therapeutic, professional, and non-sexual in nature. Any inappropriate behavior, comments, advances, or requests will result in the immediate termination of the session, full payment being charged, and refusal of future services. KnotionMend reserves the right to report any threatening, abusive, or unlawful behavior to the appropriate authorities.

A card on file is required to reserve an appointment. It is used only to hold the scheduled time and helps protect the practice from last-minute cancellations and no-shows.

Payment & Insurance

I do not bill insurance directly
HSA and FSA cards are accepted
Superbills are available upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement

Reimbursement depends on your plan, so I recommend confirming coverage directly with your insurance provider.

Cancellation Policy

Because your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, cancellations or reschedules must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

24+ hours’ notice: No fee
Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show: 100% of the scheduled session fee

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to respect the next scheduled appointment. The full session fee will still apply.

In rare, true emergency situations, exceptions may be made at my discretion.
