Welcome! My name is Heather, and I am so glad you are here. I would love to tell you a little bit about how I approach massage and bodywork.

After nearly three decades of working with bodies, I continue to be fascinated by them. I want to know why something hurts, what may be contributing to it, and what we can do to help your body move and feel better.

My goal is to combine thoughtful, hands-on work with a broader understanding of how your body is functioning. I use my background in biology, anatomy, kinesiology, movement, and years of experience to choose the techniques that make sense for you.

Increasingly, that means looking beyond the soft tissue itself. Why is that muscle continually tight? What movement patterns, compensations, repetitive demands, or other factor may be asking that tissue to behave the way it does? And what else might we need to address if we want the change to last?
