Welcome to CALM Therapy LLC! In my Massage, there is a strong emphasis on relaxation and the process of "letting go" of our physical and emotional stress with the use of slow movements and concentrated pressure. I offer services in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Healing Touch. I also have continued education and a growing passion for Thai Yoga and greatly encourage the use of movements and stretches with my clients. Though I do not currently offer tradition Thai yoga, which uses a mat on the floor but instead have used this modality on the table for Table Thai Yoga. All treatments are personalized through open communication between myself and my client creating a safety zone of personal care that is specific to your needs. I build all treatments off of a foundation of applied knowledge, client focused care and continued education to further my understanding of the services that are available for you.

I work out of my in-home office Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment only. I share my work space with a my friendly, canine puppy companion named Coach who can frequently be seen resting under the massage table of outside of the massage room. He is my Emotional Support Animal and offers a breath of fresh energy to the office. He is still a puppy and in training so I ask that new clients have awareness of this and let me know if you have any concerns with having a puppy in the work space.

For appointments, we are located at 1103 3rd Ave. near the heart of historic Longfellow district, Iowa City. On street parking makes access to my office convenient! Booking your appointment is even easier! Just call or book online. All new clients will receive a general consultation and assessment prior to there first massage to help us find the most comfortable wellness plan to work for you and your schedule. Please arrive 5 min early to your first appointment so we can discuss your treatment plan.

As of now, mask are not required but still recommended. I will continue to wear a mask with my clients until further notice. The room and home are routinely sanitized as always so we can feel comfortable in a clean work environment.
