Hello! My name is Kachi Okoronkwo, and I am a Certified Massage Therapist. I am passionate about my work and the people I work with. Take a moment to read more about me, and how we may work together.

HISTORY
I attended the University of Notre Dame for both undergrad and law school, and have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Peace Studies. After leaving law school I worked in sales and marketing for experiential events and CPG brands before transitioning to HR and People Ops. I then spent 13 years working in Bay Area and New York based tech companies in various recruiting and management positions, where the crux of my roles was caring for employees. In 2018 I began training for my first NPC bodybuilding competition, and in October 2022 I earned my pro card as a Natural Wellness competitor with the PNBA. I began offering fitness coaching and competition prep which triggered my desire to better understand the body, and the mind-body connection. In 2023 I graduated from the National Holistic Institute in San Jose after earning my CAMTC. I have since worked at R Spa, The NOW, Woodhouse Day Spa, Forma Gym, and now, my private practice.

PHILOSOPHY
The common theme throughout my wellness philosophy is an emphasis on mental and emotional health, having seen first hand the impact they have on the health of our physical being. We often forget about ourselves when surrounded by others in need. But our societies are dependent on caring for each other, starting with ourselves. Never question or diminish what you need in order to be your best self. Massage isn't just self care, it's healthcare.

SPECIALITIES
My most requested specialties are deep tissue, maternity, and energetic healing massage. The specialty I find most enjoyable is sports massage, where we work together to treat and hopefully alleviate pain and discomfort, while healing injury. I like to combine my bodywork skills with my knowledge of kinesiology and pathology in order to achieve measurable outcomes.
