My name is Bree, I am a licensed massage therapist and lymphatic drainage specialist here in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. Whether you're seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply need a moment of calm, I provide personalized and intuitive massage therapies to support your journey toward wellness. I have been trained in many different modalities of massage including manual lymphatic drainage, scar tissue release, deep tissue, Swedish relaxation, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, cupping therapy, and prenatal massage.

My studio is a safe space, and my practice is inclusive to all people. My goal is to treat each patient with a unique and individual approach that will benefit them, promote healing, and address their specific needs. Currently I am not billing insurance, however I am happy to provide a detailed receipt so that you can get reimbursed for your massage. This also applies to motor vehicle accidents and PIP insurance.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
I specialize in Dr. Vodder’s method of manual lymphatic drainage, and I gained my knowledge and certification through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. MLD is a relaxing & gentle treatment that aims to stimulate the lymphatic system by using light, specific hand movements to help move excess fluid from swollen areas of the body towards working lymph nodes.

MLD is very beneficial for those who are:
•Recovering from any type of surgery
•Suffering from an inflammatory condition or autoimmune disease
•Have Fibromyalgia, Parkinson’s, lymphedema, lipedema, or chronic illness
•Experience Chronic fatigue syndrome, headaches, or migraines
•Those who are experiencing swelling due to hormone imbalance, pregnancy, injury, lymph node removal, or digestive issues.

Why is post-op lymphatic drainage important?

Lymphatic drainage after surgery is crucial because it helps to significantly reduce swelling, alleviate pain, promote faster healing by removing excess fluid and waste products from the surgical site, minimize the risk of infection, and improve the overall aesthetic outcome by reducing bruising and scar tissue formation, making it a key component of post-operative care. Manual lymphatic drainage is beneficial after all types of surgery, including plastic surgery, cosmetic procedures, tummy tucks, gender-affirming surgery, joint replacement surgery, lymph node removal, cool sculpting, and liposuction.

You can usually start receiving lymphatic drainage treatments 24 hours after surgery, but the exact timing depends on the type of procedure and your surgeon's recommendations. Some conditions may prevent you from getting a lymphatic drainage massage, including congestive heart failure, a history of blood clots, stroke, current infection, liver problems, and kidney problems.
