Ama Greenrose Manasse, a Certified Massage Therapist since 2002, facilitates profound healing that impacts your core self, nervous system, and organ systems, contributing to improved health, comfort, and overall well-being.

Ama takes a holistic approach to Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, integrating various techniques drawn from over 20 years of training and practice. Each session is co-designed with clients through a thorough intake process, ensuring specific symptoms, health goals, and interests are addressed.

Her specialties include certification in Oncology Massage, where she works with clients before, during, and after cancer treatment. She is also trained in advanced Pre- & Perinatal Massage, scar tissue remediation, Vodder-style Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD), grief work, and Somatic Experiencing® (SE™) for trauma resolution, enhancing regulation, integration and resilience.

Primary techniques utilized in her sessions include Swedish massage, Reflexology, Acupressure, Myofascial Release, still holds, joint range of motion, active and assisted stretching, guided breathing, visualization, and vibration healing (using music, colored light, and/or a tuning fork). Rapport and relational connection is of primary importance. Additionally, her work is informed by modalities such as Craniosacral Therapy, Polarity Therapy, Shiatsu, and Trager (rocking, shaking, and vibration).

Clients can also benefit from a Biomat Mini, a far-infrared heating pad made from amethyst and tourmaline, extending from the shoulders to the hips.

In addition to Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, Ama offers Somatic Experiencing. The primary goal of SE is to help clients navigate and move beyond present symptoms, stress, and overwhelm, building their capacity to cope and thrive.

Throughout this gentle journey, clients are witnessed, guided, and supported as they increase self-awareness and curiosity, release stuck survival energy, strengthen connections with supportive resources, and reorganize their nervous systems. This process builds resilience and enhances the ability to respond appropriately to stressors, allowing clients to live from their core selves.

By focusing on the body in the present moment and re-establishing ease and flow in the physical body, nervous system, and mind, clients are able to thrive in daily life. Most sessions include a blend of verbal interaction, touch, movements, and playful tools, and take place sitting in a chair, laying on the massage table, or standing and moving.
