Your Frequency is a private practice in the Jamaica Plain area of Boston, Massachusetts dedicated to building a community of clients who recognize that regular bodywork and a strong mind-body connection are essential for navigating the stresses of modern life.

As a holistic massage therapist, I am trained in the modalities you’d expect: Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, lymphatic drainage, and stretching. I do cupping and hot stones. When your body feels good, life feels good, and you’ve got a stronger mind-body connection.

As a musician, linguist, and scientist in speech tech, I understand the therapeutic value of sound from a variety of perspectives. Sound is energy. Think of the transformative experience of your favorite concert, the binaural beats you listen to when studying, or the AMSR videos you binge to relax. Energy moves, transforms and heals. That’s why I also offer vibrational sound therapy with Himalayan singing bowls and polarity therapy.

Bodywork And Everyday Stress

Your body tells you, in subtle and not-so-subtle ways, when life’s stresses get you out of tune. Often, five major culprits (a.k.a. life events) are to blame:

I have experienced most of these stressors in my own life. Regular bodywork has been an integral part of my getting through every one of them. So I’ve built a non-traditional healing space with services for the way we live now, dedicated to you and your specialized needs — whether you are a musician, caretaker, teacher, grad student, professor, parent, or tech worker, or someone ground down by the cogs of life.
