Hello!

My name is Sarah Stein, and I am so excited to begin my journey as a massage therapist! In practice, I like to approach the client as a whole, mind, body, and soul. My practice goes beyond physical relief, aiming to nurture emotional balance and mental clarity to those that seek it. By combining therapeutic techniques with an intuitive understanding of the body’s energy systems, I aim to help clients achieve deep relaxation and inner- harmony, supporting their overall well-being.

My journey actually started almost 2 years ago now, when my heart was opened to holistic healing after a life-changing medical event. I was a childcare teacher at the time, working with infants! I loved what I did and was really good at it too, but I was feeling burnt out, exhausted and creatively blocked!

Not sure what my next step would be, I began working on ways to become more attuned to my own body, and release excess energy through the art of dance. I currently co-operate Ecstatic Dance Lansing and teach dance-exercise classes as a facilitator of the World Groove Movement. Dancing is not the only medicine I have used on my journey; I also love singing and am a member of the Lansing Women’s Choir - Sistrum. After finding so much joy in helping myself, I followed my heart and became a certified Life and Wellness Coach, so that I can help others. Health, wellness, nutrition, spiritual support, are just a handful of the things that I am knowledgeable in, and I cannot wait to expand this knowledge into supporting women’s and birth work as well.

Recently obtaining my license in Massage Therapy from Lansing Community College, I am excited to add somatic therapies to my toolbox of ways to help others. As always, I approach each client with an understanding that each individual is unique and requires a tailored treatment plan specific to their individual needs. I provide therapeutic massage, passive & assisted stretching, reiki energy balancing, with plans to focus on prenatal and postpartum massage, and craniosacral therapy in the future!
