Policies:

Clients must have a debit or credit card on file.

Clients will be required to pay a 50% non refundable deposit for all services booked.

Remaining balance for services is to be paid at time of session.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your session to fill out forms.

If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. After 15 minutes your session will be cancelled and you will be charged the full amount.

Cancellation:

I understand life happens and things come up unexpectedly but I do require a 24 hour notice for cancellations or rescheduling. For anything less than 1 hour, your card will be charged the full amount.

Scope of Practice:

Massage therapy is the manipulation of muscles and other soft tissues of the body, by a licensed practitioner using manual techniques with the purpose of relieving pain, promote healing, and improve physical function.

Licensed Massage Therapists do not do body adjustments, nor do they diagnose conditions or prescribe medication. You may be referred to a medical professional for a diagnosis or treatment.

Massage therapy is not intended as an alternative solution to proper medical attention.

Boundaries and Client Needs:

I want you to feel welcomed and comfortable. I am happy to accommodate you in anyway that I can, just let me know how to; adjust pressure, music volume, work longer on a specific area, etc.

You will always be modestly draped, with only the area that is being massaged undraped.

You may stop the massage at any time you feel the need to.

Sexual interactions or innuendos of any kind are never appropriate and will not be tolerated and could result in the session being terminated.

I reserve the right to stop the massage at any time.

Confidentiality and Conversation:

All visits and conditions are confidential. Your information will never be disclosed without your consent.

Do not feel pressured to talk during the massage; it is perfectly ok to be silent and relax. Conversation will be guided upon the clients direction.

Client feedback is appreciated.

New and Existing Medical Conditions:

It is the clients responsibly to inform the therapist of any existing medical condition or treatment. As such, if a contraindicated condition/treatment is present, it is the clients responsibility to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., to continue with massage treatment. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.
