Welcome, I am a Licensed massage therapist (MAT-16966) who is passionate about facilitating health and wellness by listening and working with each individual that comes to me. I provide a relaxing, safe, and comfortable space to help you reinforce or develop the relationships between your mind, body, and spirit. Which results in stress relief, pain reduction, improved flexibility, mental clarity, emotional well-being, and empowerment of your body.

I refer to my skills as facilitation because I believe it is with the reciprocal exchange of time and energy between myself and an individual that will determine the degree of benefits one can receive. If you are in need of pain reduction, stress relief, mental clarity, emotional stability, a safe space to receive compassionate touch, or improve your body awareness I trust that I have the ability to assist you to reach your desired state of wellness.

I am a graduate of the National Holistic Institute's 800 hour program which has taught me an array of techniques and knowledge including but not limited to;

Western modalities;

Swedish - A fluid and relaxing experience that utilizes oil or lotion and a variety of strokes and stretches to achieve a blissful and content state.
Deep Tissue - Some may expect an uncomfortable or strenuous experience but my technique focuses on working with the muscle fibers and not forcing them allowing for a comfortable session while still providing relief of those tight areas and stickiness knots.
Myofascial Therapy - a slow and site specific modality that focuses on how to improve posture by recognizing the interconnected effect that each body part has on the whole body.
Lymphatic massage - a light pressure technique used to reduce inflammation and improve the immune system.
Sports Massage - sessions to improve recovery after strenuous exercise or events as well as maintain peak physical condition.

Eastern modalities;

Shiatsu - incorporates accupressure, energy work. Focusing on balancing of the meridians and assisted stretching to provide relaxtion, stress relief, pain reduction, and a sense of emotional/mental balance.

Ive received 80+ hours of Lomi Lomi practitioner training

Lomi Lomi - A holistic form of Hawaiian healing arts. Most popularly known for the long oceanic strokes from the body work but also involve Lau lapa'au (herbal medicine), ili ili (hot stones), Oli/pule (chants and prayers) and much more. I have four kumu (teachers) Jeana Iwalani Naluai who passed her unique style which is a compilation of knowledge from 6 kahuna (masters), from her teachings I honor the lineages of Aunty Mahilani Poe Poe, Aunty Margaret Machado, another kumu of mine is Jody Mountain who was given the blessing to pass on the teachings she gained from Kahu Abraham Kawai'i through the Ke Ala Hoku. I learned Oli and Pule from Kumu Kahealani and Kumu Kahililaulani who perpetuate the teachings from the Alapa'i lineage.

All of these combined has provided me with the confidence and skill set to express my unique approach to wellness.

If you choose to book a session you may notice I do not have a flat rate service price and provide based on a sliding scale, allowing more access to those who may otherwise not be able to afford these services. After booking your session the sliding scale amount will be sent to you along with your intake form, if you are not comfortable with the scale we can discuss a payment plan or you are free to cancel the appointment.
