I've been a licensed massage therapist since 2011, working as a massage therapist as a fun side job while working full time and raising my daughters. From 2011 through 2025, I have continuously expanded my repertoire of knowledge in the space of health and wellness.

In 2022, I was at a career crossroads and had an opportunity to pursue a career in wellness in earnest. I quit my day job and started teaching at the local gym and created a massage practice. I have never been happier. I love helping clients relax and just feel better in general. I have met some wonderful people on this journey and they have enriched my life with their stories, their kindness and trusting me with their wellbeing.

Massage Style

Flowing deep tissue with a focus on working with the breath. Having come from a background in singing, yoga and running, everything is better when you focus on your breath. I have had experience with Alexander and Feldenkrais Technique, helping me better understand how daily activities are improved with breath awareness. I use this idea when working on tight muscles and observe the client's natural breathing rhythm in order to ease into those trouble areas.

What to expect for your first massage session. Please note that ALL offerings are professional, therapeutic, fully draped appointments. NO EXCEPTIONS.

1. You will fill out an intake form to let the therapist know some basic information to be able to personalize your session. Understanding allergies, experience with massage, problem areas, medications, health issues, and what you expect to get from massage are some key components.

2. After chatting, you will be asked to undress to your comfort level. Some people leave on their socks and undergarments while others are completely bare. You will be covered and appropriate draping will be used throughout the session for your comfort.

3. Generally, massage starts face down on the table with a sheet and blanket covering you. As the session progresses, if you have any questions, feel uncomfortable, too hot, too cold, too much pressure, not enough pressure, or feeling unwell, DO NOT be afraid to speak up. You have paid for this time and it should be a pleasant experience. I cannot change my technique or any factors if you tell me AFTER your session. It may feel awkward, but I appreciate any feedback to make your experience wonderful.

Time expectations

For new clients, arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment to get acquainted and to ask any questions. Existing clients need only 5 minutes prior to your appointment to update the therapist.

If you are running late, your session may be shortened as other appointments are likely scheduled before or after yours. Please have the courtesy to text or call if this is the case or if there is an unforeseen emergency. I will try to provide your full service, but cannot guarantee the full time if you arrive late. Full payment for scheduled services will be expected.

What's next?

I am actively working towards a few new certifications:

- Death Doula: Supporting clients who are at end-of-life, have terminal diagnoses, caregivers, and those seeking options who are healthy but want to be prepared. Doulas are NOT medical professionals but can give comfort, a listening ear, Reiki, respite care for caregivers and support after a loved one's passing. All in a non-judgmental way so that there is ease and support as much as possible through what is generally a very scary and stressful time.

- Naturopathy Certification: This does NOT take the place of a medical professional, but this certification will allow me to understand clients on a holistic level. Taking factors such as diet, exercise, environmental factors, complementary therapies, we can work on a coaching program to help you personalize an approach to your own life and wellness goals.

- Auriculotherapy: This method uses ear 'seeds' placed on the outside (auricle) of the ear. Like reflexology or acupuncture, there are points in the ear that - when stimulated - can give pain relief to clients for issues such as headaches, back pain, reduced stress, improved digestion etc.

Have a group of people for a party or gathering or a work event? Inquire about options such as a Dance Fitness or Pilates Class, Sound Bath with Guided Meditation, Chair Massage, Reiki sessions, or Coaching sessions!
