Most people come to me carrying something they've had a while; a shoulder that won't let go, tension that returns every week, a body that never quite downshifts.

My work centers on fascia, the connective tissue that wraps and links everything in the body, and on the nervous system that decides how tightly it holds. I blend myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, deep tissue, and assisted stretching, and each session is built around what your body is asking for that day.

Sessions are slow and unhurried. I work at a pressure you can stay relaxed under rather than brace against, because tissue lets go when the nervous system feels safe enough to allow it. Most people leave looser, quieter, and more like themselves.

I'm Kelly Niileksela, LMT and owner of Authentic Wellness in Hancock, where our team also offers counseling. Body and mind aren't separate projects, and I like working somewhere that treats them that way.
