I trained at the Baltimore School of Massage -York from March to December 2017. My strength in clinical practice was my ability to work with “whatever was presented to me.” I learned to always maintain my intention of helping and trusting in my own abilities while staying within my scope of practice.

Now, with over 6 years of experience as a licensed professional massage therapist, I’ve come to the understanding that my massage has to “speak for itself.” I am mobile in the Hanover, Gettysburg and York, PA areas with an initial interview to make sure I am the right massage therapist for you.

I believe wholeheartedly in the work that I do, and I hope to do it as long as my body allows. I love learning new techniques and modalities and applying them to my practice in ways that are helpful to both my clients AND myself. No two massage therapists are exactly the same, and I equally believe that no two massages are the same. Each of my sessions are unique to that moment depending on what issues are presented to me. Whether it be a full-body maintenance session, or an issue with chronic or acute pain which is limiting the quality of daily living, my session will always cater to what my client actually needs rather than any potential for “upselling.”

I have training in many modalities, but it seems that most of my clients come to me to help with pain relief requiring deep-tissue, trigger-point, structural integration-based massage therapy. However, needs change from day-to-day, so I remind my clients not to focus so much on the type of massage they want as much as they should focus on checking in with in their body and how they feel “now.” I have the ability to alter my techniques as appropriate, and have experience working with people of all backgrounds: from children to those of a more mature age; from athletes to folks battling cancer and others under a doctor’s care; and highly stressed people who just need a break to people who “have a 0 stress level.” (What is their secret!?) I enjoy the challenge of adjusting my technique to better help my clients.

I have recently started working under a chiropractor to gain new experience, to learn more about how the two fields are connected, and to better understand how I can help my clients.
