Barbara graduated from the University of Iowa in 1983 with a BS in Recreation Education and in 1992 from Hands-on Therapy School of Massage in Mesquite, TX. In 1994 she discovered the amazing world of fascial bodywork. In 2004, Barbara took her first John F. Barnes' Myofascial Release Approach� (MFR)seminar. This is when she truly began to get a sense of how physical and emotional trauma is trapped in the body.

MFR has helped Barbara develop into a skilled therapist and she continues to find joy in this work. Her private massage therapy practice offers a personal setting with one-on-one care. In this environment Barbara works with male and female clients with a variety of diagnoses, She will help you remove the myofascial restrictions and explore the barriers to becoming healthier.

Barbara continues to attend MFR seminars, participates in MFR study groups, receives MFR regularly, practices self-care, and treats her clients with MFR nearly everyday. MFR has changed Barbara's life for the better, both personally and professionally. She is excited to continue her journey to receive, give, and learn.
