Hey yo!

I am a Licensed Massage Therapist at our Waterfront Spa location. As a bodyworker, my aim is to support my clients in achieving the individual wellness goals that they may have, whether it be to increase day-to-day performance, decrease pain, decrease stress, or to supplement their own understanding of their body. I am a firm believer that a detailed initial intake interview is essential to creating a treatment plan, as it gives both the client and practitioner a way to mark and measure progress. I am a ready listener, and my goal is to empower each and every client with self-care strategies that they can easily incorporate into their day.

I am a great fit for active individuals looking to supplement their wellness routines, and those looking to improve their range of motion and healthful mobility. Although the term “Athlete” usually procures the mental image of a younger individual crossing an Ironman Finish Line, I believe that anyone who is active for a good part of their week may have similar injuries, physical challenges and body awareness issues as a triathlete!

I was born and raised in SW Washington State and obtained my education in massage and bodywork from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland Oregon, where I specialized in Therapeutic Deep Tissue Massage, and Swedish Massage, along with an intro class to Structural Integration. I am inspired by the movements and stretches that are part of Traditional and Table Thai massage sessions, and I like to incorporate them into treatments when beneficial. While pursuing my education, I was also a carpenter and recognize that the continuous, and oftentimes strenuous repetitive tasks that construction workers experience often cause pain that becomes chronic and overlooked. I enjoy spending time with family, visiting friends, hiking, skiing Hood, cooking exotic foods, a great cup of coffee, playing the piano and singing!
