Tree of Life Therapeutic Bodywork has been helping those with pain, get out of pain since 2015. We specialize in the John F Barnes approach to Myofascial Release (JFB-MFR). JFB-MFR is a very effective holistic and unique approach to bodywork helping those who have been suffering with pain both explained and the unexplained. Pain can come from many sources, injury, surgeries, trauma, repetitive movement and postural imbalances just to name a few. We are committed to helping you to return you to a pain free active life style!

What to expect?
Healing is a journey, rather than an event. It takes time!
The 1st session we will go over your health history, and discuss your goals for treatment.
Before every session we with do a visual and hands on assessment in both standing and lying as the fascial restrictions or tension lines can differ greatly with gravity and non gravitational positions.
Please no oils or lotions on your skin on the day of treatment we want to sink down into the fascial restrictions rather than slide over them.

Men are asked to wear loose fitting shorts for treatment and women bra (please no racer backs or solid back sports bras) and underwear is best or loose fitting shorts and tank top.
We are very active in client education on self care techniques to bridge the gap between treatments, allowing you to maintain the gains made in the last session.

MFR is a very gentle approach that addresses mind, body and spirit, you are but one being. After treatment you may feel better, lighter and notice improved mobility, mental clarity and a sense of peace and calm after your session. My goal is to get to the ROOT of your problem and return you to a pain free active life style! Doing the things you love, and loving the things you do.
