Myofascial Release (MFR)

Myofascial Release is a specialized bodywork approach for chronic pain and long-standing tension. It works with the fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles, joints, and nerves) to address restrictions that keep pain patterns stuck.

When fascia becomes tight or restricted, pain often persists despite stretching, exercise, or other treatments. MFR uses gentle, sustained pressure to reduce tension, improve movement, and addresses the underlying patterns contributing to pain, rather than just the symptoms.

This work is commonly sought for chronic neck, shoulder, jaw, hip, and low back pain, postural imbalances, and pain linked to stress or old injuries.

While a single session may provide relief, consistent sessions lead to more lasting change. Many clients begin with a single session, then continue with a series (6 or 9 sessions) to allow the tissue to adapt and respond. Progress is reassessed throughout care.
