Iann began her acupuncture training in 2010 at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, CO, completing her Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2013. In addition to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Iann focused her studies Kototama Acupuncture, a traditional Japanese style in the lineage of Nakazono Osensei, that utilizes a powerful yet very gentle needling technique, combined traditional Japanese bodywork, along with treating the Hara with Sakai-Hon-Rei-Teate, a version abdominal handwork handed down from Master Sakai.

Iann’s skill set and experience allow her to productively treat anybody with virtually any condition, as her work is not simply based on symptom alleviation, but also on building up and reinforcing her clients’ own internal energetic resources, so that they may take best care of themselves. Iann knows that stress and spiritual imbalance are part of life and play a significant role in the human health process. And along with addressing symptoms and the underlying energetic patterns and within the body, Iann’s work is focused on all levels of personal health, with a balanced and individualized approach to health care and sustained well-being.

Iann’s experience also includes work and training as a yoga instructor, nutritional and lifestyle counselling, meditation instruction, and ceramic arts, along with local botany and backcountry exploration. Her experience has led her to see that human health is much more than symptom alleviation, and her work is dedicated to empowering her clients’ greater capacities to feel good and become more fully realized in their own lives.
