As a Licensed Massage Therapist who specializes in the John Barnes Myofascial Release technique, I am passionate about the environment this work provides me to continually grow personally and professionally.

The Fascial System fascinates and intrigues me, and I recognize the key role it plays in every single cell of our body. I also recognize that discomfort and pain are a signal from our body that tells us there is an opportunity for healing. I believe that healing can best take place with a practitioner and client, working together to ignite the body’s ability to rediscover its own balance.

I once prided myself as a therapist with a “heavy hand” and an ability to soften any muscle with persistence, skill, and palpatory intelligence. However, over the years, through my ongoing training and exploration of my own healing journey, I have learned that even with the best of intentions, you are not able to instill healing upon someone’s body with force and skill. Helping someone recognize their unique patterns of disfunction and walking them through the process of healing on a cellular level is how you break patterns of chronic pain.

My promise to you is I will be present in every session, listening and confidently working with you and your body to release pain and limitations. I will be grateful in each session and consider myself fortunate to have the opportunity to learn about you and your experience. I will hold the intention of empowering you to take this healing modality home with you, with the understanding that you are your own "best practitioner”.
