Hi, I’m Wendy! I’m a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of BB Massage & Recovery in Getzville.

I’ve been a massage therapist since 2009, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that every body is different—and bodies can be stubborn. ? There’s no magic massage that fixes everything in one session, but there’s a lot we can do to help you feel and move better.

Some people come to me with tight shoulders from sitting at a computer all day. Others are active, working physical jobs, recovering from an injury, dealing with chronic tension, or simply stressed out and overdue for some self-care. And sometimes you just wake up and something hurts for absolutely no good reason. I get it.

My sessions aren’t cookie-cutter. We’ll talk about what’s bothering you and what you want to accomplish, and I’ll tailor your session from there. Depending on what your body needs, I may incorporate therapeutic massage, stretching, trigger point work, IASTM, or other recovery techniques. I also offer Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT) for those times when your body—and your nervous system—need a serious reset.

Over the years, I’ve continued learning beyond massage, including Physical Therapist Assistant coursework and personal training education. I’m a bit of an anatomy nerd, and I genuinely enjoy figuring out why something might be tight, sore, or just not moving the way you want it to.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable here. You don’t need to know the name of a muscle, what type of massage to book, or how to explain exactly what’s wrong. Just tell me what you’re feeling, and we’ll go from there.

Recovery isn’t always a straight line, and I’m not going to promise to “fix” you in an hour. What I will do is listen, use my experience, and work with you to help your body feel its best.

Got knots? Tight hips? Angry shoulders? Let’s get to work!
