I'm Kozue, owner and principal massage therapist at Kahu Massage and Bodywork.

I was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan, I have lived in United States for over 25 years.

I became a massage therapist because I felt what positive effects massage therapists had on the body, mind and spirit.

I believe that healing occurs more rapidly when both the body and mind are soothed and that many illness are caused or worsened by untreated stress.

It was very rewarding to hear a client say, "I really enjoyed the session,'' "I felt much better", "I feel relaxed and loose like a noodle after the knots are worked out…" etc upon leaving.

The feeling of helping someone feel better is great!!! That's why I love my job.
