Vanetta Servoss, LMT is Salt Lake City’s leading women’s myofascial release health expert and therapist.

She loves helping people find a better quality of life!

Vanetta was introduced to myofascial release work as a client struggling with debilitating headaches, dizziness, pain, and muscle tension. Traditional medicine did little to provide relief, and it wasn’t until she began seeing a myofascial therapist that she started seeing change.

She knows first hand how it feels to be trapped in pain with little hope for recovery. Or to be given a diagnostic label like fibromyalgia with little recourse other than dependence on prescription medications.

Medications and pain management are NOT the only options available to those struggling with pain or loss of mobility!

As she has worked to heal, Vanetta credits myofascial work and a lot of inner exploration and reprogramming of her habits and behaviors with helping her get her life back.

She considers it a privilege to assist others in their journey.

Vanetta’s formal education includes an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a Master’s degree in Health Promotion from Mississippi State University.

Vanetta has extensive training in the John Barnes Myofascial Release Approach® and she is considered an expert level practitioner. As all expert level practitioners in this way of working with the body and being, she approaches treatment sessions and learning with the curiosity of someone who is always beginning.

Informally, she has also done a deep dive into the worlds of Behavioral Psychology, Change Theory, Movement as Metaphor, Inner Journeying, and Breathwork. She is always learning and expanding her understanding of how the body best works.

Vanetta’s work with clients is a unique blend of treatment that integrates the work she has done personally with her understanding of how healing and change happen in the entirety of the being.

Her personal habits of health now include a daily (almost) practice of at home myofascial release treatment, regular journaling, inner exploration, long walks, resetting of tension levels in a variety of ways, and time spent connecting with self.

Vanetta loves to travel and explore other places. She now enjoys the active lifestyle she once thought was no longer possible, and can frequently be found outside enjoying the sunshine and hiking the trails of Utah, Idaho, and Arizona.
