Associating with your body is such an important benefit of massage. Often times our mind takes over and thinks it's the only part of us, yet the body is the one moving and holding us through life. Our tissues tell a story. When I started listening to the story my tissues were telling me, it ignited a light which connected me to my body in a way I didn't know was possible...and so began my interest in bodywork.

Prior to becoming an LMT, I worked for a decade in the classroom and corporate international education. What was the story my tissues told? - I sat for long periods of time , looked up and down at screens, ran between events while disproportionately carrying heavy equipment.

There was also a psychological story of where and how trauma and emotions were stored in my body.

Receiving massage helped me to associate and with my body and be on my own wellness team. I quickly found that I had a calling to offer this support to others.

I moved from NYC to Longmont, CO to attend the intensive Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy. I loved Colorado so much I decided to stay and offer massage therapy to the community!
