I became a massage therapist to share my passion for self-healing with members of my community. Growing up, I saw and experienced the limitations of the bio-pharmaceutical model, especially when caring for family members dealing with serious health challenges. Luckily, I have also seen the healing power of bodywork and massage in their lives.

My academic background is in sports medicine, exercise science, orthopedics, and manual therapy. In 2016, while studying physical therapy in graduate school, I realized that the health insurance reimbursement model was hindering the field of physical therapy. Disillusioned by these challenges, I left the program and decided to pursue various endeavors, such as getting married and starting a family!

In 2021, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, I attended an in-person Breathwork and Cold Plunge workshop (the Wim Hof Method) and it changed the course of my life. The instructor was a massage therapist and encouraged me to pursue the practice. With the support of my amazing wife (who cared for our two small children while being pregnant and working full time), I completed my program in the Fall of 2022 and have been working ever since!

Using a combination of massage techniques and the practice of breathwork, I will integrate knowledge of the human body and powerful breathing and meditation practices in order to encourage my clients to take up the mantle of healing themselves.
