My name is Sheena Turner and I specialize in a form of bodywork called Structural Integration.

What is structural integration?

Through observation, palpation, and client feedback, structural integration therapists assess a client's posture, range of motion, and movement mechanics to determine dysfunction and imbalance within the body. These sessions are typically more "intense" than a therapeutic spa massage due to the fact that we are focusing on releasing tension, adhesions, and often holding patterns within the body that have been present for prolonged periods of time. Techniques used include but are not limited to: deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial release, sports massage, active release techniques, cupping, IASTM, lymphatic drainage, and stretching.

Who can benefit from this form of massage?

Athletes, competitors, weekend warriors, health & fitness enthusiasts, stay at home parents, people who work physically demanding jobs, sedentary jobs... You get the picture! If you have aches and pains, I am here to help!

How long are the sessions?

Sessions I currently offer:

What can I expect during my session?

Sessions are tailored to each individual's current situation, history, and goals. Because of this, I will ask many questions, take detailed notes, and perform assessments prior to beginning our session. Clients will receive an email containing intake paperwork and additional appointment details prior to the first appointment.
