HOURS OF AVAILABILITY:

We are located INSIDE the Lumen Wellness and Counseling suite, at 125 Chesterfield Towne Center. Our therapists are available Wednesday-Friday, plus one Saturday per month. We do not accept walk-ins. New clients must book online for their first appointment. Existing clients may book online, call, or text.

Business Policies:

Cancellation Policy
24 Hour advanced notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hour advance notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment fee. If your appointment has been pre-paid online, the amount will apply towards the cancellation fee. If your appointment was not pre-paid, you will be responsible for the full payment prior to scheduling your next appointment. All clients will receive a document after any incident of failure to comply with the cancellation policy, and they will be required to sign the document before their next appointment. All payments are nonrefundable, nontransferable and all sales are final.

No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” They will be charged for their “missed” appointment.

Late Arrivals
If you arrive past your appointment time, you will be considered late. Your session will be shortened and will end at the original time in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Typically there must be at least 30 minutes left in your allotted appointment time in order to still receive a session. Regardless of the length of the session actually give, you will be responsible for the full amount.

Forms:

All clients are required to complete a health consent form 24 hours prior to arrival of their first appointment. These forms will be updated annually beginning in January. If you are unable to complete the form before arriving, a portion of your session time will be allotted for you to complete the forms. No additional time will be given for this. All our forms are electronic and should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. We do require client photos for all files.

Credit Card on File:

All clients are required to place a credit card on file. We do not accept clients who are unwilling to do so. This card is securely encrypted and only charged in cases of no-show appointments. There will be an additional $25 fee if your card is charged for a no-show and is declined.

Refunds and Transfers

All services are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Clients are not allowed to split packages. Any sessions left over after the expiration of a package are forfeited. All packaged are valid for one calendar year (12 calendar months) from the date of purchase, except Trio packages for Craniosacral Therapy. CST Trios are intended to be used within 45 days from the date of purchase as agreed upon in your collaborative treatment plan. Any unused session expires after 60 days. In the event of an emergency, a credit may be applied to your account to use for a future service date. Our office reserves the right to limit the classification of emergency to hospitalization, motor vehicle accident, birth, death, or trip to the emergency room.

Inclement Weather:

We reserve the right to close the office at our discretion due to inclement weather in all forms. Our clients will receive a text if their appointment will be affected and we will work diligently to get all clients rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe. Typically, if Chesterfield school systems are closed, our office will also be closed. If any client feels uncomfortable with driving to their appointment during inclement weather, but our office remains open, they need to text our main number, 417-281-4844, and let the office know. If we are able to reschedule within 7 days, the cancellation fee will be waived. Clients must give at least a 1 hour notice during inclement weather to have the cancellation fee waived. Clients that give less than a one hour notice will be subject to the cancellation fee.
