Massage means something different to everyone. It may be to relax or reduce stress, it may be to get rid of pain or tension. It is up to the massage therapist to customize each massage to ensure that the client's needs are being met. I became a massage therapist because I believe in the power of massage to help people overcome pain and other health obstacles. Massage may not be able to cure every thing, but it is a good place to start.

**01/11/2019 in response to the 1 star review given, I feel that I need to explain that this particular client has been disrupting my business since April 2018. She constantly changed appointment times, sometimes an hour before her appointment. There were 4 instances between April and July that she simply chose not to show up without calling. Every time she did come in, she was late and wanted me to extend her appointment to make up for her tardiness, even when I had appointments after her. I had several talks with her about this. She stopped coming in last summer, and recently made an appointment that she once again wanted to change last minute. I told her at that time that I would no longer be able to work with her because it was too disruptive to my business and she retaliated with the poor review. There were no medical or life challenges that prohibited her from making it in to her appointments.
