Ronald S. Murray PT

Ron Murray is a Physical Therapist and has been recognized as a gifted healer. Ron is increasingly acknowledged as a mentor; a teacher of holistic healing; and an innovator at the intersection of alternative healing modalities, applied healing technologies, and traditional medicine.

He is a master practitioner and teacher of CranialSacral therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Myofacial Release, and Body Mind Healing. His understanding of the human body as a dynamic colloidal system—helps his clients and students conceptualize how each of these healing techniques make it possible for the body to “let go” of chronic pain and dysfunction, and come back to a more natural, optimal state of function.

These techniques are aimed at gently freeing any areas of restricted movement in the body and helping clients explore any psychological components of their pain or disease processes.

“I have found in my work that there is almost always a psycho-emotional component to intractable health problems, chronic and acute pain syndromes, and deeply ingrained patterns of muscular tension,” explains Ron. “I make every effort to provide a safe space for my patients within which they can face and release trauma, tension, and pain.”

As a Doctor of Integrative Medicine Ron has extensive training and experience working with Sanum/Pleo homeopathic remedies and functional assessment devises such as medical microscopy and heart rate variability assessment.

Dr. Murray holds a Doctor of Integrative Medicine degree from the Department of Clinical Medical Education of the Capital University of Integrative Medicine. He has trained extensively at the pioneering Upledger Institute in Palm Beach, Florida, and assists with a variety of courses offered through the Upledger Institute. Ron is also affiliated with the Center for Integrative Medicine at George Washington University. He is a licensed Physical Therapist, and Certified Nutritional Consultant.
