No BODY is perfect!

Trust me, I know how imperfect the body can be. After a ten year relationship with wrestling in my youth, a dislocated shoulder from longboarding, three summers commercial fishing in the Bering Sea, a shoulder displacement while rock climbing, a 6 year career in video production (mainly seated), and a few broken bones and scars thrown in the mix…trust me, no body is perfect.

But together we can work on it. Despite all of my injuries my body feels great! Well, most of the time…as long as I’m keeping up with my activities and getting regular bodywork.

Now I’m not just saying all this because I’m a massage therapist. I’m doing this because I know it works. It can relieve pain, decrease stress, and contribute to overall wellness by activating the parasympathetic nervous system, getting blood flowing, and moving other vital fluids through the tissues and muscles of the body.

Massage is not a final solution or a temporary luxury, it is friend and a partner on a journey of wellness that starts with you.
