I began my education in1994 with a workshop at the Care Through Touch Institute in San Francisco called, “The Art of Anointing”. This experience which emphasized the deep honoring of the human body has stayed with my practice throughout my career. Although Swedish/Esalen is the base of my work, I have studied and grown to incorporate many modalities including: Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Craniosacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Lymphatic Drainage and Reiki. The creative process of massage is what I love most; listening intently to what the body needs in the moment and responding with the appropriate movement or touch. As a dedicated yoga and insight meditation practitioner, I strive to remain balanced, strong, and grounded in my practice. This, in turn, allows my clients to feel safe, nurtured and restored.
