I am pasionate to work with people and help on their journey to manage chronic pain. Seeing firsthand from family members what chronic pain can do inspired me to get certified to help the community around me feel better. When there are injuries from sports or car accidents, massage therapy can help, along with other specialists, to improve our clients' health. Also, massage therapy can improve your endurance and recovery from your own workout routine.
I am also a mother of young children, which allows me to understand how important it is to maintain our overall health in balance, so we can feel our best and tackle everyday life. Our days can be stressful, but it is ok to get help. Learning to live a life where you manage your stress in your body and mind is a whole life-changing experience.
Massage is also applied to people with cancer or anyone who is a candidate for bodywork. People that had cosmetic surgery can benefit from massage too. Always ask your doctor. I completed my massage certification at Renton Technical College in 2018. I was also certified in Mexico back in 2012. The roots of my massage practice in Mexico allowed me to be more empathetic and have a holistic point of view of massage therapy. My learning in the USA allowed me to practice from a more medical view and to see the positive physical and mental health benefits from massage therapy, reducing pain, and easing stress. Both certifications have given me the gift to work better with my clients and to be able to bring more into the massage table. Sometimes our pain can come from accidents or injuries, but sometimes we store so much in us that we need help to release that tension or discomfort through therapeutic bodywork.
I specialize in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, and myofascial release. My sessions are tailored to your specific needs. I can include hot stones, cupping, IASTM ( Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation), and stretching in the massage session. I have seen that I had been able to assit people to get more in control of their discomfort or pain with this variety of techniques. Makes me very happy to be able to help my clients feel better. I have worked with people who just need to have a relaxing massage. Everyone is welcome.
